American Students
and
International Transfer Students With F-1 Student Visas

Step One: Arrange to visit the school and participate in a Student Shadow Day

If you are not familiar with the school, you will want to schedule a meeting with our admissions director, Ariel Edwards, which will include a tour of the school. Here, Ariel will be able to answer any of your admission questions. To schedule a Student Shadow Day or a tour of the school, contact Ariel at aedwards@wissf.org or call (415) 564-1063.

Step Two: Application

Submit a completed Application Form, with the application fee, including the local address and phone number of parents, acting guardian, or contact person. Please enter a second address if applicable. International students should use this second address space for their home country information. To receive an application, you may either download, print out and mail the completed form with your application fee to the school, or you may request to have the necessary forms sent to you by regular mail. To request an application sent to you please fill out our online form.

Step Three: School Records

In order to be considered for acceptance to W.I.S. we need the student's previous and current school records. You can submit records that you have, or request the previous or current school to forward them, or use the form we provide, entitled the Request for School Records.  Please print, fill out, and submit the Request for School Records form to the student's previous or current school, and their office will send WIS the necessary records. You may need to follow up this request with a phone call to check that these records have been mailed or received.

Step Four: Schedule an Interview

The final step in the application process is to schedule an interview. The school will contact you to schedule the interview upon receipt of the application.
