Summer School 2008

Dates: July 1 to July 29

Every summer Woodside provides an opportunity for students to attend small, individualized classes to re-take previous courses or prepare for upcoming ones.  Each class is tailored to each student’s particular needs.  The school’s regular faculty teaches most, if not all, courses.  Students enrolling at Woodside in the fall can use the opportunity to better prepare themselves for the coming year.  Credits are fully transferable to other schools and non-Woodside students are welcomed.

Classes are held in the mornings unless otherwise arranged, and are divided into two or more sessions of 45 to 90 minutes each.  Completion of one full course can earn high school students five units/credits.  The coursework is based on one semester’s work; studying is intensive and there is a significant amount of homework.  Students may sign up for a maximum of ten units, or they may seek for approval from the headmaster to sign up for more than ten units.
